Elle est l\u2019une des 2 stations de connexion avec la ligne 1 du tramway de Nice. L\u2019\u00e9mergence formant l\u2019acc\u00e8s \u00e0 la station, contrairement aux autres stations enterr\u00e9es, se trouve implant\u00e9e dans l\u2019alignement des fa\u00e7ades Est de la rue Catherine S\u00e9gurane. La fa\u00e7ade comportant l\u2019entr\u00e9e de la station, r\u00e9v\u00e8le les mod\u00e9natures types des arcades de la place Garibaldi par l\u2019emploi d\u2019un b\u00e9ton matric\u00e9. Depuis l\u2019ext\u00e9rieur, \u00e0 travers les larges baies vitr\u00e9es, apparait un mur rev\u00eatu de pierres de Luserne. Ce traitement particulier agit comme une r\u00e9surgence de la signature identitaire du volume des quais des 4 stations enterr\u00e9es de la Ligne 2. Il accompagne l\u2019usager dans son parcours \u00e0 travers les diff\u00e9rents volumes de la station, depuis la place Garibaldi, \u00e0 l\u2019ext\u00e9rieur, jusqu\u2019aux quais, \u00e0 pr\u00e8s de 18 m\u00e8tres de profondeur. Les deux vol\u00e9es d\u2019escaliers donnant acc\u00e8s \u00e0 la salle des billets sont mises en sc\u00e8ne dans un volume simple et lisible de plus de 8 m\u00e8tres de haut. L\u2019\u0153uvre de l\u2019artiste Ernest Pignon Ernest gravite au centre de ce parcours.
